Intermediate Fundamentals Workshop
"Technique and Musicality: Everything a Growing Lindy Hopper needs"
Beginning/Intermediate to Intermediate/Advanced
We are going to cover some of our fundamental concepts about connection technique and musicality. This workshop will provide a great foundation for growing Lindy dancers and also be a great review for any intermediate/advanced dancer, especially those that need a bit of a nudge to get past a plateau.
Workshop Schedule:
NO PARTNER REQUIRED.
9:30 am - 10:00 am
Registration, Open Dancing, and Warm-up
Come early, stretch, loosen up, dance a bit, chit-chat, hang-out, etc.
10:00 am - 11:00 am
Permutations of Lindy
One of our most popular classes - a great technique to learn new patterns and improve connection. We'll double, triple, or quadruple your new moves in one class.
11:15 am - 12:15 pm
Connection In The Basic (a.k.a. Fast Lindy Connection)
Fundamental concepts on the basic - clean up your technique and be able to dance incredibly fast tempos.
12:15 pm - 1:15 pm
Lunch
1:15 pm - 2:15 pm
Musicality 99 (not quite 101)
An intuitive way to think about musicality and styling: unleash your Lindy!
2:30 pm - 3:00 pm
Putting It All Together
Our "Musical Routine" class to put it all together - put everything you learned today into practice!

Walk in toward the center of campus and follow the Cal Poly Swing club sandwich boards, you will see a large cement building. This is the UU Go upstairs and to the back of the building. At this point if you don't see or hear us, contact Krystal at 530-902-1937.
